Step 1: Go to the Patta Chitta portal and choose the district in which your land is situated. This option is available under the ‘View TN Patta’ section.
Step 2: Now, you will have to enter details like ward name, block number, district, and taluka name along with other details like subdivision and survey number. You may also have to select whether your property falls in an urban or rural region.
Step 3: After submitting these details, the land registration certificate can be obtained.
Tracking the Patta Chitta status online is simple. For that, the following steps need to be followed by you:
● Visit a website known as e-District and sign-in. Now, you will need to submit the application ID and enter the captcha code as it appears on the display.
● Finally, you can choose the ‘Get Status’ option. Now, the online status of your Patta Chitta application will be shown on the display.
The documents that are needed to apply for the Patta Chitta are mentioned below:
● Photocopy of sales deed (the original document is needed for verification purposes)
● Property tax bill receipt and encumbrance certificate
● Patta transfer application which is duly signed along with a copy of the EB Bill
● Few photocopies of the electricity bill
