Apply for PMAY scheme online
Before applying for this scheme online, applicants must note that there are some income categories. Applicants must check their Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana eligibility beforehand.

Step 1: Visit the official PMAY web portal.
Step 2: Navigate towards the ‘Citizen Assessment’ tab on the home page
Step 3: Check and select an income category under which you want to apply
Step 4: After choosing an income category, you would need to input your Aadhaar details
Step 5: Next, in the online application form, fill up all necessary information related to employment, income, and age.
Step 6: Input the ‘Captcha code’ and select ‘Submit’
Apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Offline
Listed below are all steps to apply for this scheme offline:
Step 1: Visit the nearest state government operated CSC (Common Service Centre) to obtain an application form for PMAY.
Step 2: Fill up the application form
Step 3: Fill up the form alongside all necessary documents. Pay a nominal charge of Rs.25 plus GST.
Besides keeping in mind these above steps, individuals must check their names in the PMAY list. Through this portal, individuals can also check their PMAY status. It is necessary to apply for a home loan under this scheme.
Individuals can use a PMAY calculator to calculate the amount of home loan subsidy which can be availed under this scheme.
